Youth Representative of Georgia to the United Nations

Selected by the Government of Georgia, Giorgi Tumasyan served as Georgia’s Youth Representative to the United Nations in 2017–2018. The UN Youth Delegate Programme gives young people a voice in international decision-making and global policy discussions.

His participation included statements on behalf of Georgia at the United Nations and contributions to the UN Forum on Minority Issues. The programme connects youth representation with international diplomacy, advocacy and cooperation among young leaders from different countries.
